Legal aid / Public Funding
You are always entitled to free legal advice and assistance at the police station regardless of your means. Call us day or night and one of our representatives will be sent to advise you on your options and determine the best course of action.
If you are charged, public funding (also known as Legal Aid) may be available for your case depending on the nature of the charge and your means. If you would like to speak to someone about applying for legal aid, simply call us and a member of our team will be able to help. We can quickly tell you if you are eligible, and once you have signed the paperwork we can make the application on your behalf.
If you are granted legal aid for a Magistrates’ court case, you will not have to pay anything, whilst if you are granted legal aid for a Crown Court case you may have to pay a contribution depending on the level of your income. The size of this contribution will be calculated based on your income and financial circumstances.
If you don’t qualify for legal aid, we can still represent you on a private basis.

Fee Information
We work on a fixed fee basis. We will provide you with an initial free telephone consultation, with a view to then quoting you a fixed fee. Whilst we will always endeavour to keep within the fixed fee quote, there may be circumstances where the fixed fee needs to be extended. Where this arises, we will always discuss this with you.
We will provide you with a legal team tailored to your needs and the nature of your case. We have strong ties with several eminent barristers’ chambers and your solicitor will carefully select the barrister with the appropriate expertise for your case.
